Jodie Foster Dumped, is this Karma???

Although I tend to take this news with a grain of salt, considering the source, but the the National Enquirer has recently reported that Jodie Foster has been dumped by her new girlfriend.

In June 2008, the Enquirer claimed that Foster had abruptly dumped Cydney Bernard, her long-time partner of 14 years, for Cindy Mort, a 33 year old high-profile TV/movie writer. Foster had met writer/producer Mort while filming The Brave One in 2006.

Now the Enquirer reports that Cindy Mort has dumped Foster and has rekindled a romance with an exgirlfriend, Amanda Demme, a well-known Hollywood club promoter and the widow of film director Ted Demme.

“Ironically, now it’s Jodie who has been jilted,” a source told the tabloid. “She’s miserable.”

Interestingly enough, Amanda has also been romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan.

I guess even hot lesbians celebrities get dumped, go figure.

Jodie Foster and Cydney Bernard Break Up

Sad news on the lesbian entertainment front. Two-time Academy Award-winner Jodie Foster and her long-term partner, movie producer Cydney Bernard, have reportedly broken up.

Their alleged split comes just months after Foster's acceptance speech at a Los Angeles film gala in December where she first outwardly spoke about her partner, calling her: "My beautiful Cydney, who sticks with me through the rotten and the bliss."

Jodie Foster and Cydney Bernard began dating in 1993 during the filming of the movie Sommersby and have worn matching Tiffany eternity rings on their wedding fingers for many years.

Cydney was Jodie's birthing partner through both her pregnancies and has helped raise her two sons, Charlie, 9, and Kit, 6, from birth.

A source told the National Enquirer "Jodie breaking up with Cydney is shocking. She and Cydney have been together for so many years and have two children together, the potential fallout and legal wrangling from this split could be monumental."

If you can believe this... in a speech on Tuesday, at the 16th annual Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Power 100 breakfast, Jodie Foster thanked "my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss" while accepting the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. If your wondering who Cydney is...well Cydney Bernard, a television producer, is the women who has been "reported" as being Jodie Foster's Life Partner. Although Foster has never openly admitted her relationship with Cydney Bernard, whom she met in 1993 on the set of Sommersby, Cydney has been living with Jodie for the last 14 years and has been helping her raise her 2 kids.

In an interview with More magazine in September, Jodie admitted that the Tiffany ring she was wearing was "an eternity ring" that she never takes off. And in an interview with the Denver Post, Jodie was commenting on her acting career and stated, “I need to have something that doesn't belong to my mom, doesn’t belong to my kids, doesn’t belong to my partner.”

Wow, Jodie Foster used the "P" word...if that doesn't shout I am a lesbian, then what does?
