Judge Walker has lifted the stay on Prop 8 and as of Wednesday, August 18th at 5pm, Same Sex marriages will once again be allowed in California!!!!!!

Judge Walker's opinion, that proposition 8 violates the 14th amendment which provides for equal protection under the law, was written so well that there was almost no way that he could have allowed the stay to remain in place. It is equally unlikely that the 9th district will overturn Judge Walker's decision. There is joy in California today.
